How did you get into jewelry making?
My journey started many years ago when I met a kind, talented jewelry artist at a fair. I was inspired by her beautiful work and over the years purchased many of her stunning creations. We became friends and she taught me how to bead and knot. That was the beginning of my beading adventure.

What kind of Jewelry pieces are your favorite to make? 💚
I’m always excited to explore new ways of creating, but there’s something especially grounding and satisfying about knotting necklaces and bracelets, it’s a technique I truly love. Most of the pieces I make for myself are knotted and I have a nice collection of silk knotted bracelets with beautiful button closures.
What types of Beads are your favorite to work with?
I love working with stones that capture the essence of nature. Some of my favorites include Turquoise, Amazonite, Labradorite, Pearls and Ghana Glass beads. They each have their own unique energy/vibe that makes them so meaningful in every piece.

Catherine from @mariposaplace, I absolutely love her boho, nature-inspired pieces. I purchased a bracelet from her about 5 years ago — a hand-knotted beauty made with African Blue Opals — and it’s still one of my favorites.
Nancy from @facets.etc, I love her flair for creating unique pieces with such an earthy, grounded vibe. The gems she uses are always vibrant and stunning.
Maureen from @lunarmoodsjewellery, she is an incredibly talented designer and I’m absolutely drawn to her pearl pieces. She has an exceptional eye for finding the most unique and beautiful pearls and she transforms them into stunning designs meticulously crafted.
