Ultra Rare Antique Garnet Red Russian Blue Tube Beads (22x4mm)

These exceptional tube-shaped Russian Blue trade beads feature an extraordinarily rare garnet red color, a seldom-seen variation of one of the most iconic styles of historic trade beads. Despite the name, Russian Blue beads were produced in Europe using the drawn-glass technique and became highly prized in the global trade during the 18th and 19th centuries, valued for their distinctive faceted tubular form and exceptional craftsmanship. Garnet red examples are exceedingly difficult to acquire, making strands such as this a remarkable find for collectors and designers alike. Measuring approximately 24 inches in length, each strand contains beads averaging 22 x 4–5mm with 2mm holes. Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from photo.
