These old glass beads are typically found among the Fulani people of Nigeria. Glass beads such as these were made by hand and likely brought by Europeans to Africa for the purpose of Trade. Each bead has it's own unique tonality and texture. Each beads measures approximately 14-48mm wide by 8-9mm in diameter. These beads are uncommon in their size and their age is apparent in the faded color and imperfections of the glass. Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from photo.
