Very nice strand of small Bauxite stone African trade beads !!!!!! The strand is in good condition (some beads are chipped). The necklace is about 24" long (of beads) with beads measuring 4-6mm in diameter.

Bauxite Clay Beads

I prefer to design with these rustic heishi-style beads when they are smaller than 6mm - and here they were at The Bead Chest! Very well made along strand, not many chips. They are lighter color than some I've seen, a paler red brown. But I still love these! Goes very well against turquoise, reds , greens, many uses. Fast shipping is terrific too! Thank you for offering these.

Fabulous beads

Perfect for our use. Many Nigerian chiefs and others are using the plentiful coral beads supplied by the Chinese for special occasions. These authentically mined and drilled African bauxite beads are wonderful and set the wearer apart. Keep them coming!!
