Beading needles size 12 are a step finer than size 10, for the smallest seed beads and the tightest multiple passes, and this card holds 6 steel English needles plus a threader. The needles are long and stiff, with an eye no wider than the shaft, which is what lets them slip through a bead that already has several threads in it. Use them for loom weaving, peyote, brick, herringbone and netting, and for stringing seed beads, pearls and sequins. The threader takes the strain out of loading fine thread into a fine eye. Bead crochet and bead embroidery work well with this size, and a clip-on magnifier helps when threading.
