S-Lon heavy macrame cord in black, 0.9mm (0.035 inch) and 105 feet (35 yards) to the spool, is the thicker sibling of the familiar S-Lon bead cord and the one to choose for macrame bracelets, Shamballa-style knotting and kumihimo braids with real presence. Made in the United States of nylon, it is durable and flexible, knots cleanly and holds its shape in a finished piece. The heavier diameter suits large-hole recycled glass beads, Krobo beads and brass or copper beads with generous holes, and it stands up to repair work on existing bracelets and necklaces.
