Crazy lace agate, commonly known as Mexican Agate, is believed to have been formed during the cretaceous period, approximately 65-90 million years ago. Loved for its beautiful patterns, people often say it carries the tribal spirit and history of the ancient cultures to which it witnessed. Some even believe that the early inhabitants of Mexico used it to make amulets for endurance and courage in battle. Each bead measures approximately 8 x 8mm with a hole size of approximately 1mm.
