These rondelles are made by the Krobo people of Ghana: glass is crushed to a fine powder, packed into clay molds and fired until it fuses, so no two beads are quite alike. Strands #1 to #5 lean toward translucent sea-glass tones, while #6 to #9 are opaque fused glass with painted-looking patterns. Use them as spacers, layer them into stacked bracelets, or mix strands for a full necklace; designers get nine coordinated colorways in one order.
