The unique look of Kakamba beads is easily recognized among the beads of Africa. Originally produced in former Czechoslovakia, these beads are made using a special process whereby glass is pressed in a mold. Also known as Prosser beads, these fun vintage African trade beads come in a variety of different colors and combinations. While these beads typically come in an abacus or rondelle shape, this more rare variety is spherical. Each bead measures approximately 6-8 x 7-8mm, with a hole size of <1mm.
