Product Details

Among the more rare varieties of trade beads, these vintage navy blue padre beads are a beauty to behold. Hold the beads up to the light and you will see the unique color of these translucent beads. Old padre beads such as these are found in Ethiopia, East Africa. Originally European-made, they were traded in Africa the late 1800 early 1900's. Each beads measures approximately 8-9mm in diameter. Look carefully to appreciate: these are original old padres...not new reproductions which are much easier to find.
