Here is a strand of beautiful old aluminum beads from Ethiopian. This faceted shape is harder to find than the more common cube. The exact age of these beads is not known but they are most likely at at least 30 yrs old and were made from melting down old, discarded aluminum pots. The strand measures approximately 26 inches and there about 75 beads in total, measuring 8mm across. They are very light in weight and easy to work with. Each unique strand is sold individually and may vary slightly from photo.
