Each bead is individually handcrafted through a traditional process passed down generation to generation. The steps involve crushing glass into tiny pieces, placing it in a mold, and then heating the crushed glass at high temperatures in a clay oven. Different types of glass are used including old cola bottles, broken tiles and windows, and other types of repurposed glass. The beads on this strand measure approximately 12 x 13-14mm with a hole size of approximately 3mm. Each strand is unique. Some strands may have only black/orange/green colors.
