While real snake vertebrae beads have been traded in Africa for centuries, glass alternatives such as these appeared only in the 20th century. The beads on this beautiful mango color strand measure approximately 2-4 x 4-6mm, with hole size of 1mm. Each strand measures approximately 24" with interspersed interlocking and cylindrical spacer beads. Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from photo.
