These unique Lapis beads are made from authentic lapis stone mined and polished in Afghanistan. These Lapis beads can make for a great addition to your jewelry design. Use them to add color to an original piece or restring to make a favorite necklace. Each strand measures approximately 14" in length (25" including string) with individual beads approximately 1-2 x 6-12mm and hole size of approximately 1mm. Lapis stone from the mines of central Afghanistan has been used throughout history both in jewelry as well as to make distinctive blue dyes. Multiple strands may be pictured.
