Green vaseline beads are among the more common glass trade beads from Ethiopia. Originally made in Czechoslovakia many decades ago, we sourced these beautiful glass bicone beads from the Oromo region in southern Ethiopia. Having been made by hand, each bead varies slightly in shape and size. The beads traditionally come in several colors, with green being more common. Despite this, these beads are becoming increasingly hard to find.
