Hand-carved Mayan Jade Beads with Pendant #17509

Made from authentic Guatemalita Jade stone, these unique beads have been individually shaped and polished by the native Mayan people of Guatemala in Central America. While these beads are newer production, the Mayan people have an ancient history of stone carving that stretches back over one millennium. Look carefully and you can see the natural quality and texture of the stone. Individual beads measure in the range of 8-27 x 12-32mm with a hole size of 1-2mm. This is a long 36" strand that includes an assortment of shapes and sizes including a unique mask pendant. Current strand strand has a clasp however beads could be easily made into a special necklace or used in original beaded creations. Hard to find!
