These artisan Ocean Aqua Recycled Glass Beads were indigenously produced in Ghana, West Africa. The rich color of these beads comes from colorful recycled glass beverage and medicine bottles that were pulverized into a fine powder. Once the glass material is in powder form it is then poured into a mold of clay and baked in a specialized oven.
