The two halves hold with magnets, and each side has a crimp tube sized for 2mm cord, so it is a direct fit for 2mm round leather or 2mm waxed cotton cord. Slide the cord in, squeeze the tube flat with pliers and the closure is done. Solid brass with a darkened antique finish that suits bone beads, large hole recycled glass and brass spacers.
