Beautiful VERY OLD strand of medium size GREEN HEART Venetian glass trade beads !!!!!! The necklace is approximately 30" long and the size of the beads is 6 - 8 mm in diameter. Venetian trade beads used in the African trade early 1800's. Each strand is unique and may vary from photo. It is not uncommon for some of the beads for old beads such as these to be chipped due to age and to show parts of the underlying translucent glass of the green layer.
