9 Strand Bundle: Garnet & Amethyst Gemstone Beads

This nine strand bundle pairs deep red garnet with violet amethyst, two classic gemstones that make a rich jewel tone palette for designers. You will receive one strand each of Round Almandine Garnet (4-5mm), Round Garnet (6mm), Bicone Garnet (5-7mm), Graduated Rondelle Garnet (5-8mm), Round Amethyst in 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm, and Dark Round Amethyst (5mm). The bicone and graduated rondelle garnets come from premium vintage stock, and the amethyst ranges from light, translucent violet to rich, dark purple. Garnet takes its name from the Latin word for pomegranate and was long worn as a protective amulet. Round beads run from 4mm to 8mm, the bicones measure about 7-10 x 5-7mm and the rondelles 2-3 x 5-9mm. Holes are small, about 0.5 to 1mm, so these are best on beading wire, fine cord or silk thread. Strands measure approximately 15 to 16 inches, with around 720 beads in all. A versatile set for necklaces, bracelets and earrings in deep, warm color.
