These vintage glass beads are often referred to as "button beads" because they were originally made by a button factory established by the Prosser beads. Originally from Czechoslovakia and traded in West Africa, these button beads in specific are thicker than usual, and come in a deep red color. Each bead measures approximately 5x9mm with a hole size of 2mm (great for leather!). The strand is 26 inches in length. Limited supply available.
