Product Details

A beautiful strand of black and white skunk beads, made to resemble the older Eye beads produced in Italy in the 1800 early 1900. The idea of the eye beads is to protect whoever is wearing it from the Evil Eye or any associated intended harm. This is a common belief in the Middle east and Eastern Mediterranean cultures where different protective symbols are used in various countries. Individual beads measure 14-16mm in diameter and are likely not of African origin.

skunk Beads large

These beads are smooth, large, clean mostly and have a good weight. Each bead is uniform yet has a good mount of randomness with dot placement.
