Take a look at this red strand of Czech glass beads. Also known as Bohemia, the eastern region of former Czechoslovakia, historically has been a major source of beads traded in West Africa. Beads such as these are found today in the West African country of Nigeria. Each vintage bead on a strand measures approximately 8 x 5mm diameter with hole size of about < 1mm.
