Sliced Prosser Beads get their name from their unique shape. These beads originated in the former Czechoslovakia and were made by pressing molten glass. They have been traded in Africa since the late 1800's early 1900's. We haven't had pink Prosser beads like these for some time. This would make a beautiful addition to any beader's collection.
