These gorgeous Blue and Black Krobo Beads will make great addition to your jewelry design projects. Handcrafted and painted by Ghanaian artisans these powder glass beads have an interesting combination of colors and patterns that creates a striking look. Many designs of Krobo beads are patterned to resemble old Venetian fancy trade beads. Made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then poured into molds in order to create these round shaped beads. Decorations on the beads are made with a paste made of colored glass powder and water which is applied by hand using a thin wooden stalk.
