Take a look at this beautiful strand of green recycled glass beads. These beads are unusually small, in a hard-to-find 7mm size. Great for bracelets and earrings! You will receive a 24" strand with approximately 80 beads. Recycled glass beads are a type of indigenously produced African bead from Ghana West Africa. These beautiful recycled beads are made using an old method that has been used for centuries. The glass itself is derived from a variety of recycled sources including old beverage and medicine bottles. The procedure for making the beads consists of a number of steps whereby powdered glass is poured into molds of clay and baked in a specialized oven. These beads are produced in large part by the Krobo tribe and are environmentally friendly. Two strands pictured. Each strand is sold individually.
I LOVE ALL OTHER BEADS. YOU ARE ASKING ME TO GO ITEM BY ITEM. I AM TOO TIRED TO DO THAT. MY ADVISE IS TO MAKE IT SHORTER. THANK YOU FOR RECYCLING AND SAVING THE EART. REGARDS, MIRA
I love the light blue color of these glass beads. Because I hadn't worked with recycled glass like this, it took me a minute to get used to the texture. But once I placed them around my wrist to see how they would feel as a bracelet, I knew they were perfect.
