Admire this unusual strand of camel bone beads from Kenya. While Kenyan bone beads are common in a variety of shapes and styles, these beads come in a hard-to-find nugget shape. East African bone beads are handcrafted by artisans using recycled cow bone. These beads however, are said to be made from a more exotic, recycled camel bone. Each bead is individually carved and polished, and is truly one of a kind.
These beads measure approximately 6-7 x 5-7mm, with a hole size of 1.5mm. Strands measure approximately 26", and have approximately 90 beads each. Two strands pictured. Each strand sold individually.
