Product Details

These beautiful darkly colorated and bicone beads are handcrafted in Tanzania. The unique brown color is derived from the henna plant which is used widely in Africa as a natural dye. The wood frame of the bead has been meticulously inlaid with cow bone across the center of the bead and polished to near perfection. These beads are actually surprisingly lightweight. Each bead is unique and a little bit different. A few beads may show minor blemishes. Individual beads measure approximately 32-35mm long by 20-25mm in diameter and are strung on a sisal. Long strands measure over 30 inches. Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from photo.
