Clay Buddha Prayer Beads with Gold Leaf (11mm)

These unusual beads are a traditional craft of Southeast Asia. Look carefully and you will see that each handmade bead has been decorated with a stylized image of a seated Buddha. Many beads have also been adorned with gold leaf. Beads such as these may be used to decorate a small shrine or style your favorite room. Each strand has about 108 beads and may be used as a meditation Mala or the beads may be repurposed to add a unique touch to your jewelry designs. The natural finish of these beads has a vintage feel however application of a small amount of mineral oil may be used to enhance color. Each strand is unique and will vary slightly from photo.
