Take a look at these original, vintage button beads made using the famous "Prosser" technique. Originally from Czechoslovakia, these brown glass saucer beads were sent to Africa decades ago and used as a part of traditional West African culture. Each bead measures approximately 6mm in diameter, with a hole size of 1mm. Although seemingly ordinary, beads such as these are considered collectibles as they tell the story of African-European relations, and are exceedingly difficult to find. Limited supply available.
