Black Vintage Prosser Button Beads (7mm)

These black beads have been fashioned in the shape of small buttons. Commonly known as Prosser beads, vintage Czech beads such as these were made during the 19-20th century by pressing glass in a mold. If you look carefully, you will see that the dulled finish of the glass shows the wear of time. Each bead measures approximately 2mm wide by 7mm in diameter and has been strung on natural raffia straw. Hard to find color.
