Product Details

These unique Lapis beads are made from authentic lapis stone mined and polished in Afghanistan. Look carefully and you can see the veins of Pyrite mixed into the natural stone. These Lapis beads can make for a great accent piece in almost any jewelry design. Use them to add color to a original piece or restring to make a favorite necklace. Each strand measures approximately 16" in length with individual beads approximately 10mm in diameter and hole size of 1-1.5mm. Lapis stone from the mines of central Afghanistan has been used throughout history both in jewelry as well as to make distinctive blue dyes. Multiple strands pictured. Each strand sold individually.
