Product Details

The exceptional size of these jumbo-sized shell heishi beads is hard to miss! Shell heishi such as this are made by craftsmen in Togo who cut natural shell to create these unique and rustic matte shell beads. Togo is a small francophone nation in West Africa that borders the Atlantic sea. Each strand is approximately 16" in length plus additional 6-8" of string. Individual beads measure 3mm thick by 23mm in diameter with a hole size of 1.5mm. Ideal to be used as a centerpiece for a special necklace or for home decor. Each strand is unique and may slightly vary from the picture. Additional charge may apply for some international orders due to the weight of this item. Please inquire in advance. Limited supply.

Quality reigns supreme

I had to cheat on this favorite fair trade bead vendor when my go-to ocean shell heishi 12mm beads were on backorder. And as expected, what I received wasn't the same. I have my full trust in The Bead Chest and next time it happens, I'll just wait! Or stock up extra- their prices are competitive and service is fantastic. A huge fan!
