Ancient Chiseled Mali Stone & Carnelian Beads

These old stone beads are both colorful and unusual. Natural stone was among the earliest materials used by ancient cultures to make beads for personal adornment. Beads such as these are discovered in the ground where they have sometimes laid undisturbed for hundreds if not thousands of years. These specific beads were found in Mali West Africa. Each graduated strand will consist of a unique assortment of sizes and shapes and may include stones such as Carnelian, Jasper, Rock Crystal, Quartz, or other minerals. Each strand measures approximately 34" long with individual beads 5-11 x 12-24mm in diameter. Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from photo.
