I ordered both the 1mm and 2mm black waxed poly cord and they are both a great product. I used my soldering iron to melt and flatten out the end and trimmed it when cooled to a point long enough to extend it through the bead. From there it’s easy threading. If the point breaks down, I just repeat melting and go go. This cord is strong no worries about breakage A+
