Product Description
A beautiful strand of powder glass African beads, made by the people of Krobo Mountain (Ghana, West Africa ), resembling old Venetian FANCY trade beads. The strand is over 40" long . Made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then into molds in order to create this nice looking beads. Decorations on the beads are made with a paste made of colored glass powder and water, which is applied using a thin wooden stalk. They are cooked a second time to fix the decor. Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from strand pictured.

Bead Chest not only has marvelous beads that are even better than the photos, but they also have great seller communication! Beads are shipped quickly and wrapped so carefully that I have a hard time getting into them :)!!

SO Nice
Love these. Convey the African style to the jewelry and can mix with solid colors for a great look. I think using combining only a few with other beads gives it a higher end look as if to stay these decorative beads are much more expensive than the others which makes product look high end.
