This uniquely patterned strand of tabular hexagonal beads is made using traditional methods used to create powder glass beads. The procedure for making the beads consists of a number of steps whereby powdered glass is poured into molds of clay and baked in a specialized oven. Recycled glass beads are hard to find in this special shape. Each bead measures approximately 20-22 x 22-24mm with a hole size of approximately 3mm.
