These primitive stone beads have a decidedly rustic feel. Formed from naturally translucent quartz stone, the carved oval pattern highlights the unique quality of the stone. Skilled Nepali artisans craft each individual bead by hand and have finished the beads nicely with a nice string. The length of the strand measures about 25" with 19 beads measuring between 15-21mm wide and 11-16mm in diameter and a hole size of 1mm. A few of the large beads may fall outside this size range. Current stock has clear glass round spacers between the larger beads that are not indicated in the estimated bead count. The size of these beads makes them suited for decor or jewelry-making.
