Checkout this beautiful strand of exceptionally large cranberry red white heart beads! White hearts derive their name from the inner core of opaque white glass that is coated with a layer of translucent colored glass. This process produces beads with a unique character as light passes through the bead. Beads such as these are originally of French or Czech provenance and traded in Africa. This strand measures approximately 28", with individual beads measuring about 5-6 x 8-9mm. Such a large size of white hearts in this deep red color is hard to find. Some strands may have some regular red white hearts mixed in.

The red in these 'white hearts' is a deep blood red, that was seldom seen in recent years sales worldwide and the size is great although not all strands push the 9mm mark as advertised in the title. Traditional aficionados of antique 'red' white hearts will doubtlessly prefer the liver, bleached out colour of older beads than these ones. Not me. These are hard to beat! Highly recommended product, amazing colour and great seller. Many thanks!
