Take a look at this exceptional strand of vintage vinyl beads. Said to be made from vulcanized rubber or recycled phonograph records, beads such as these were exported to Africa from Europe during the early 1900s for the purpose of trade. Old vinyl beads such as these have bee replaced by newer varieties that are more commonly found. Vintage vinyl can be identified based on a smoother edge and the polished surface of the beads. Each stand is unique and may vary slightly from photo. Strands may show some discoloration, dust, etc or other signs of age. The strand you receive will be primarily black however up to 10-15% of the beads may vary in color. Limited supply.
