Hand-crafted in West Africa, this beautiful carved wooden bowl was made using wawa obeche wood, more commonly known as African whitewood. Traditionally used by Fulani tribespeople, we believe this bowl was made in the mid-20th century. Its distressed finish shows signs of age and history. These bowls work great as decorative pieces and can be placed on coffee table, dining table, or bookshelf. Drape a strand of our much loved batik bone beads inside for a perfectly balanced centerpiece! Each bowl measures approximately 7-9 x 2.5 inches. Texture, pattern, and shading varies from bowl to bowl, and may vary from photo. Due to age and wear, bowls may have small cracks or chips which help tell their rich history!
