Admire these beautiful, handmade glass beads from the Indonesian island of Java. Inspired by tradition, these small treasures are made in the celebrated design of millefiori, or "thousand flowers." Crafted by skilled fair trade artisans, these beads makes a beautiful necklace worn as is, or can be used in your own exciting jewelry designs. Each strand contains a diverse mix of shapes and colors including cylinders, barrels, elbows, and more. Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from photo.

Indonesian inspired Venetian Millefiori trade beads

I like the concept and the quality of the beads, but I would prefer if there were more of a selection of the smaller beads. Some of the beads are too large and heavy. But, they’re beautiful and I will buy again if they’re made smaller.

excellent beads

I had ordered a string of these earlier and was delighted with them. Surprising to find a millefiore bead made in Indonesia that is as interesting as the original Venetian made trade beads. These are quite large and bold. I ordered a second string, assuming that the ones I had were too unique to be replicated--I had hoped for some different designs., but they are actually really identical down to color and designs. Remarkable if you want to make multiples of an idea. BTW, they are heavy if you have an issue with weight of necklaces.
