Indulge your eyes in these beautiful lapis lazuli beads brought to you from the mountainous wilds of Afghanistan. The mineral rich landscape of Central Asia has been a source of treasured stones for at least three millennia. These delightful, handcrafted gemstone beads come in a special saucer shape, measuring approximately 2 x 4-6mm, with holes measuring 1mm. Diameter size can vary slightly from strand to strand so if you have special needs please let us know. Each strand is about 16-17" long. Lapis is a natural stone that has been prized since antiquity for its deep blue color. Lapis saucer beads

The colour is lovely. I was hoping they were a bit thicker. I'm sure they are true to size. I'd be very interested in a larger version. Saucers are hard to come by
