These authentic vintage Vaseline beads are rare both in their color and in their shape. Made from Bohemian Glass during the 1800's, beads such as these were likely faceted by hand for export to Africa. During the Golden Period of Glass Making the Glassworks in around Bohemia were world renowned for the quality and variety of glass objects that were made including chandeliers, glassware, and beads, and other pieces of art. Vaseline beads are most commonly found in red, yellow, and green, and clear Vaseline beads such as these are exceedingly rare. Each bead measures approximately 10 x 12mm, with a hole size of approximately 2mm. You will receive one strand measuring approximately 28". There are around 60 beads on each strand. Only a few strands available so make sure to grab this before its gone.
