These striking multicolor beads are made using pieces of old Afghani bangles, also sometimes identified as Roman Glass. Each bead has its unique character and story to tell. May be worn as a necklace or refashioned into your own unique jewelry designs. Each artisan bead strand is about 18" in length with individual beads measuring approximately 4-20 x 4-11mm and ~1mm bead stringing hole. Multiple strands pictured. Each strand is sold individually and will have a unique combination of colors and shapes. Note that while the material is said to be of old, possibly ancient origin, the precise age of the glass has not been independently verified.
