Check out this set of unusual telsum beads from the northern region Ethiopia. Telsum is a unique style of bead-making that is particular to Ethiopia. This bead is intricately designed by a master artisan. These types of beads are integrated to make special jewelry pieces such as those worn by a bride during a wedding. You will receive ten beads on a short yarn strand. Beads are handmade and will have some imperfections.

My first beads of this kind and I want more :}

After reading about them on the site I appreciated them even more. I always wonder who's hands created this or that bead that has made it to my door and this information from this site maybe doesn't name names but it brings me closer to them.
