Product Details

A beautiful strand of powder glass African beads, made by the people of Krobo Mountain in Ghana, West Africa. Many designs of Krobo beads are patterned to resemble old Venetian FANCY trade beads. Made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then poured into molds in order to create these cylinder shaped beads. Decorations on the beads are made with a paste made of colored glass powder and water which is applied by hand using a thin wooden stalk. The beads are cooked a second time to fix the decor. Each bead is unique and will measure approximately 23-29 x 15mm. Strand may vary slightly from picture.

Something different to go with grey and black

Love these large bold print Krobo beads. The Bead size is larger than most. Looks great as a single focal piece, or strung together. The grey is the perfect color of grey. This is a great bead for male or female!!
