Product Details

Check out these beautiful large bone batik from Africa! They are hand dyed beads from Kenya, Africa. The dying method is known as "batik", which is a wax relief process. The design on these is an unusual carved design. These beads are strung on raffia and could even be worn as is. Some strands have a more worn vintage appearance. The strand is approximately 26" long and each bead is about 22mm in diameter. They are perfect for any of your beading needs! Due to the handmade nature of these beads some beads may have a wood core that is more secure than others.

Beautiful but...

These beads are lovely but they’re a bit dirty. They needed to be clear coated so they wouldn’t rub off on someone’s shirt. Just keep that in mind when you buy these.
