The material for these unique beads is said to have been traded from the Bay of Bengal north towards the Himalayan mountains. No two beads are alike however beads measure approximately 6-8mm wide by 13-15mm in diameter with hole size of 1-1.5mm. The length of strand measures about 26". Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from photo. Beads may be used in your own special jewelry design however the beads have been nicely strung and the strand may also easily be worn as a necklace.
