Commonly referred to as "skunk beads", these Venetian-style beads are inspired by traditional African trade beads. Original skunk beads are said to have been made in the 19th century and sent to Africa for trading however this rendition is far newer. Blue & white skunk beads are considered to be a rarer variety. Please pay attention and you will notice this is an unusually long strand measuring 34 inches in length and including approximately 84 beads! Each strand is unique. Yours will be very similar to the strand pictured.
